Hainan Mandarin Academy designs premium, closed-group
educational and cultural immersion programs in China
exclusively for private schools.

We do not sell tours or fixed itineraries.
Each program is designed from scratch for one school and one cohort,
with a clear educational purpose, full safeguarding, and local execution
managed by our team in Hainan.

A closed-group program means:
• one school
• one cohort
• no outside participants
Students travel, study, and participate exclusively with their own group.
This format ensures learning continuity, safeguarding,
and full academic control for the school.

For schools whose students do not study Mandarin, we offer
culture-led enrichment programs.
These programs introduce:
• basic spoken Mandarin for daily use
• Chinese culture and traditions
• modern Chinese society and institutions
The focus is exposure, understanding, and confidence,
not language mastery. Programs are fully age-appropriate and academically structured.

Group size: usually 6–30 students
Ages: primary and secondary school
Levels: from total beginners to advanced Mandarin learners
Staffing: ratios adjusted by age and safeguarding requirements
Parallel classes by level available when needed

Each program follows a clear learning logic, not a sightseeing schedule.
Mornings focus on structured language and cultural foundations.
Afternoons apply this learning through supervised field experiences,
workshops, school visits, and guided cultural engagement.
All activities are selected to support learning outcomes and long-term retention.

Experienced Mandarin teachers trained to work with international students
Age-appropriate pedagogy and classroom management
A senior coordinator or lead teacher serves as the school’s single on-site contact
Continuous quality oversight during the program

Student safety is embedded into every operational decision.
• Closed-group format only
• Certified instructors and trained bilingual supervisors
• Age-appropriate supervision ratios
• Pre-approved accommodation, transport, and activity partners
• 24/7 local program management and emergency procedures
• Named group leader from the school required for minors
Safeguarding protocols and risk assessments are shared with partner schools in advance.

Programs are typically hosted in high-quality hotels, often near the beach when based in Haikou.

• Students share rooms (two per room)
• Breakfast included
• Lunch and dinner are taken in local restaurants

This approach supports cultural exposure, flexibility, and real-world language practice while maintaining safety and quality standards.

We organize and manage all local logistics, including:
• field trips and cultural excursions
• private transportation
• on-the-road teaching if groups travel across Hainan

Our teachers can accompany students throughout the island while maintaining structured learning.

Visa requirements depend on nationality.

• We can recommend trusted local visa agents
• Schools and parents handle applications directly
• Hainan currently offers visa-free entry for many nationalities,
currently more than 80 nationalities, subject to change.
We advise schools to confirm requirements with embassies or travel partners.

Programs are fully customized, so pricing is tailored.
• Fees are charged per student
• Accompanying teachers and parents pay only accommodation and entry tickets
• Payments are accepted in RMB (bank transfer, cash, Alipay, WeChat)
• A deposit (typically around 15%) secures dates and staff
• Remaining balance is paid upon program start
Indicative ranges are shared after an alignment call.

Schools arrange travel and medical insurance for students
We provide guidance on local clinics and hospitals
Emergency support and coordination are available on site
English-speaking medical services can be arranged if required

2. Tailored proposal with program concept and indicative costs
3. Confirmation and deposit to secure dates and staff
4. Pre-trip planning and coordination
5. On-site delivery with daily communication
6, Post-program feedback and documentation if requested

We are not suitable for:
• tourist travel
• open-enrolment language camps
• fixed-format study tours
• last-minute, low-structure trips
Our programs are designed for schools that require accountability, structure, and educational value.

Programs designed for educational outcomes, not tourism
Strong safeguarding and local operational control
Full flexibility within a structured framework
